Hi! I’m Antonio, a destination wedding photographer based in Mexico, and Punta Mita is the destination in Pacific Mexico where I feel most consistently inspired.
Punta Mita occupies a private gated peninsula on the northern shore of Banderas Bay, forty minutes north of Puerto Vallarta airport. The headland faces southwest, which means the sunsets here are among the most extraordinary I photograph anywhere in Mexico: the light drops behind the Marietas Islands, those protected volcanic outcroppings visible from the shore of every major property on the peninsula, and the last twenty minutes before dusk turn the water and the sky into something that I have never been able to adequately describe to a couple before they experience it themselves. You simply have to be there.

My approach blends documentary and editorial instincts. For most of your day I stay invisible, capturing real moments as they unfold. During portraits I guide you gently, making sure you look and feel your best without spending too long away from your guests.

Absolutely. I’m always happy to jump on a video call to hear about your plans and answer any questions. It’s a great way to make sure we’re the right fit for each other before committing to anything.

How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book around a year in advance, especially for peak season dates. I’d recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date in mind to check availability.

When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive a preview gallery within 48 hours of your wedding. The full edited collection is delivered within two months.

Do you travel for weddings outside Punta Mita?
Yes, I photograph weddings across Mexico, including Bacalar, Tulum, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, San Miguel de Allende and beyond. I’m also open to destinations outside Mexico.
