Saasil Kantenah Wedding | Playa del Carmen Photographer

Wedding at Saasil Kantenah begins the moment you arrive on one of the last truly private beaches in the Riviera Maya, just south of Playa del Carmen. No other guests, no resort noise, just the white sand, the turquoise Caribbean and the people you chose to be there.
Hailey and Drew chose this venue because they wanted something intimate and completely their own. They were right to choose it.

The ceremony took place at golden hour, with the light falling on the beach in that warm, dreamy way that only happens in this part of Mexico for about thirty minutes each evening. Drew’s eyes welled up as Hailey walked down the sandy aisle, her dress catching the ocean breeze. Those are the moments I photograph for.

A Wedding at Saasil Kantenah

The portraits on Kantenah beach afterwards were extraordinary. The soft light, the white sand, the two of them completely at ease with each other. We walked along the shoreline, unhurried, letting the evening do its work.

As the sun dropped below the horizon the reception began, with string lights overhead, dinner on the beach and dancing until late. The kind of evening that is only possible when the venue is entirely yours.

If you’re planning a wedding at Saasil Kantenah or anywhere along the Riviera Maya, I’d love to hear about it.
